Spoilers for "TRUE NORTH"
Jan. 15th, 2012 11:01 pmRegina's hat! I apologize that I was immediately reminded of Wicked - minus the green skin. Hence the little fansquee.
And why did she want the children for herself? There is some reasoning behind this. Can she NOT have children? Is that her secret that Snow told?
And Nameless. Emma acted like she might have recognized him. Did she lie about Henry's father just to protect the kid? Or did Henry's dad "fake" his own death?
Is there supposed to be significance to the number 23 - it was on the bike's plate. Custom kind of stuff. Makes me think the writers put things like that there on purpose for us to find.
I haven't seen enough LOST to know these things.
Just some fandom questions. Any theories?

Date: 2012-01-16 04:46 am (UTC)(although...I could see Snow slipping up with Regina being infertile, but if there is an anti-magic attitude in the kingdom and she's all 'lol, stepmama's a witch', that's...downright malicious, and I don't see it being IC for her?)
I don't think she'd be making deals with Rumpelstiltskin if he took her child, that'd've utterly wrecked her, imo, whether out of love for the child OR because it'd ruin her relationship with the King (it might be an alternate take on how Cinderella and Thomas COULD'VE gone if he'd held a grudge against her for making a deal that got their child threatened). She's wary and snide with Rumpelstiltskin/Gold, but not...completely hateful, which I think she would be if her child had been taken.
IA, she wasn't keen on killing Leopold, it was necessary, but she didn't revel in the idea, not like when it came to Snow. If he were throwing her aside for another bride who could bear him a child, that might work, imo.
it makes sense why she wants such bold children. She gets the best of both worlds - a daughter to confide in, and a son for an heir
*nodnod* IA. And damn, I know Regina's not that great a person, but it's sad to me that she finally got a son and he completely hates her. *sigh*

Date: 2012-01-16 05:10 am (UTC)I wish I could. Evanescence doesn't help much in succeeding in that quest, lol :P
I'm thinking of Leopold as a possible Uther, prejudiced against magic, and maybe Snow's revelation turned him against Regina because he looked down on magic-users.
In a future episode, Leopold is faced with three wishes, and the genie. He should be careful what he wishes for :P. If he has that "dismissive of magic" attitude that could explain his untimely death.
I guess I didn't see it that Snow "meant" it malicious. Maybe, being a teenager she had a tiff with the Queen about being married off for a treaty instead of love. After all Regina hasn't enjoyed such luxury. And "Daddy had a right to know" kind of attitude. I know you could take the Queen as being in love with Leopold because she said "the one I love is dead because of Snow White..." but I took it to mean that maybe she loved someone else before she was bound to the duty of marrying the king? Again Snow with the "he has a right to know" attitude.
Of course we can be friends, though this is my RP-muse more than my "real account."
