Deleted scene: Trying to feel some connection with the father he no longer remembers, Henry tells Emma that being on the boat with Hook was the closest he's felt to his father. Emma then takes off her swan necklace and asks Henry if he wants to hear about how Neal gave it to her.

[personal profile] hughville mentioned the oncoming hurricane. It's supposed to make landfall pretty much on top of me, so we're probably evacuating tonight or first thing tomorrow am. I'll try to post, but it won't be on the top of my to do list for a while.

In Homecoming, Adam Horowitz has stated that the Henry seen in the flashback with Wish Rumplestiltskin was Sir Henry from the Wish Realm, and not Henry Mills. This is also confirmed by episode writer David H. Goodman and episode director Steve Pearlman on the Season Seven Blu-ray-exclusive Audio Commentary.

In a deleted scene from Is This Henry Mills?, Henry and Regina tour Ithaca University. Henry was supposed to meet another boy, played by Patrick Lubczyk, who played Kevin Hughes on an episode of Dead of Summer, another production by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis. In the script for the scene, Henry says to Regina that this place feels good and could be a good fit for him, whereas Regina is relieved that it's just a six-hour drive from Maine. Henry tells her not to get too excited, as he still wants to check out USC. His mother eagerly steers him toward a group of kids who are Henry's age and says that they look nice and East Coast-y. Henry thinks that they're his tour group and asks his mom if she is going to be okay. Regina replies that she'll be fine, jokingly stating that there is a group session for empty nesters, with wine. At this, Henry rolls his eyes and says that he'll meet her at the hotel. According to Leah Fong, one of the writers of the episode, Henry realizes that he can't tell the boy anything about growing up in Storybrooke, so he tells him that he is from Tallahassee. According to Adam Horowitz, the scene worked well on its own but wasn't needed for the narrative of the episode and hindered the emotional impact of the episode because it played as a digression. However, the scene can still be seen in promotional pictures.

Folklore: When Emma asks Mr. Gold if he recognizes any of the names of the people living in Neal's apartment building, Mr. Gold says that names are what he traffics in. This is a reference to the "Rumpelstiltskin" fairytale, where the titular character consents to give up his claim on the miller's daughter's unborn child if she can guess his name within three days.

Pop Culture Mention: When Henry is making blueprints, Emma jokingly asks if he's plotting his escape from Shawshank. This is a reference to the fictional Shawshank State Penitentiary (which happens to be in Maine, where Storybrooke is located), from the 1994 movie The Shawshank Redemption, which is based on Stephen King's novella Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption.
