Emma leaves in search of Mary Margaret and instead finds herself trapped in the house of a seemingly dangerous man named Jefferson. In fairy-tale land, the Queen calls upon Jefferson to help her find something she has lost in exchange for his daughter's safety.

Date: 2014-09-15 01:34 pm (UTC)Live and then on Netflix several times.
2.What do you remember most about the episode?
Jefferson and how sad but slightly insane he seemed. Also, that Emma was so trusting of a stranger. His hotness must have muddled her mind. :D
3. Did you find anything surprising when you rewatched it? Like “Oh that’s where they set that up” or “I had forgotten that ______ happened here”
Setting up the whole Queen of Hearts bit. E&A are crafty boys.
4. Although we had met Dr. Whale, this is the first time that Henry’s storybook goes to another literary work. Did that surprise you and why?
No, I figured any fictional "story book" character was up for grabs with them especially the ones Disney made films from.
5. This is the introduction of Jefferson. What did you think of his character by the end of it?
I felt bad for him. All he wanted was a quiet life with his daughter. Instead, he ended up in Wonderland and then Storybrooke separated from his beloved Grace.
6. Do you think that they were setting up the Red Queen to be who she turned out to be later?
I was not expecting her to be Cora, that's for certain.
7. Jefferson explains to Emma about all the alternative reality and how each has its own rules. So which land would you like to see pop up in the show?
100 Acre Woods.
8. Do you think that this episode is when Emma started to question reality?
I think she started to believe things were not what they seemed and that Henry might be right.
9. How much of a game changer what this particular episode in terms of this season and the series as a whole?
A pretty big one. It brought Emma and MM closer. Emma started to believe something was up. And we got a peek at what was coming up in S2. Crafty boys are crafty. ;)

* Crap, I did not mean to post my comment so soon, it was an accident when I was selecting an userpic. lol *
I felt bad for him.
Me too. I kept hoping that someone would give him a hug, and offered their help.

Yeah, that was a brilliant idea!
I agree with you with point 8, I would have written the exact same thing.
