abc_onceuponThe original title of Street Rats was "Diamond in the Rough" another term used about Aladdin in the Disney film. The original title was leaked by director Norman Buckley via his Instagram account on August 11, 2016 and can also be seen on concept art by illustrator Douglas McLean. The same day, Adam Horowitz officially announced that the title was "Street Rats" via his Twitter account. Leading up to the premiere several sources incorrectly used the name "Diamond in the Rough".
