Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, Prince Charming sets out to stop a determined and unhinged Snow White, whose memory is still clouded by Rumplestiltskin's potion, from assassinating the Evil Queen.

Remember what he said. "This will get you exactly what you need." The arrow was never meant to hit the queen. Snow needed to remember who she was, and she needed to remember James, even if Snow herself was unaware of this. By hitting James, it sparked the events that led her to getting her memory back.

'It always finds its target' was meant in a bigger picture sort of way.
