Jul. 28th, 2022 06:37 amIn The New Neverland, Mother Superior refuses to give Tinker Bell her wings back because neither of them believe in her. This is a reference to Peter Pan where the titular character says to Wendy that every time a child says, "I don't believe in fairies", there is a fairy somewhere that falls down dead. Later, Peter saves a dying Tinker Bell by calling on all of the children who believe in fairies to clap their hands.

Jun. 9th, 2022 10:13 amQuite A Common Fairy is named after a passage in chapter III of the Peter Pan novel: "She is quite a common fairy," Peter explained apologetically, "she is called Tinker Bell because she mends the pots and kettles." The word "tinker" means tinsmith, someone who makes and repairs things made of tin or other light metals.
