What a character!
Aug. 26th, 2014 08:13 pmThis week, we turn to that wicked little boy with the evil eyebrow... Peter Pan! His story definitely had a great number of twists and turns. Here we go!
1. Going back to season 2 with Baelfire in London, what did you think of that twist on the Peter Pan tale with "the shadow" that came to the window?
2. Thoughts on the reveal that Greg and Tamara's "home office" was in Neverland and that they were pawns of Pan?
3. As Rumplestiltskin repeatedly eluded to having faced Peter Pan before, what were you expecting? Besides the Pied Piper business with Bae, what did you think their history was?
4. Reaction to Pan being Rumple's father?
5. Do you think we'll see him again? In flashbacks or the future?

Date: 2014-08-27 12:28 am (UTC)I thought it was interesting and at the time I was excited about the idea of Pan as a villain. He'd always been a bit of a creepy character to me.
2. Thoughts on the reveal that Greg and Tamara's "home office" was in Neverland and that they were pawns of Pan?
It made them more interesting. At least slightly.
3. As Rumplestiltskin repeatedly eluded to having faced Peter Pan before, what were you expecting? Besides the Pied Piper business with Bae, what did you think their history was?
Honestly, I expected something more interesting than what we got. I feel like maybe more of the Pied Piper stuff would have been interesting. And a different actor for Pan.
4. Reaction to Pan being Rumple's father?
neutral. Didn't hate it, but didn't love it either.
5. Do you think we'll see him again? In flashbacks or the future?
I hope not. I feel like I'm the only one who didn't like Pan and his storyline. I just really didn't like the actor and so much of it felt like wasted potential to me.

[Yes, it's the first time I read about it. So I'm kinda shocked now. O.O And confused. Seriously: How can this be? Pan is sooooo young. O.O Or at least he looks young. O.O]
(Note to myself: Watch Season 3. ^-^)no subject

Date: 2014-08-27 04:30 pm (UTC)I was totally blown away! For me, it's the biggest surprise so far in OUAT. I thought it was very interesting to see Pan as a villain, and the fact that he ends up being Rumple's father made us realize that Rumple was not so bad compared to Pan. I thought it was interesting to see how the writers made the scenes with Pan, Rumple, Killian and Bae. When I rewatched after knowing who was Pan, I realized how evil he was with his own family. Even with Bae, his grandson, when he put him in a "prison" until Emma saved him. Somehow, I would have laughed if the writers had included a scene where Neal called Pan Granpa or Granpapa. lol

Date: 2014-08-28 01:59 am (UTC)I thought it was a particularly creepy scene. And I suspected that the series would shift to Neverland in Season 3.
2. Thoughts on the reveal that Greg and Tamara's "home office" was in Neverland and that they were pawns of Pan?
It came as a bit of a surprise for me. I realize that most fans hated Greg and Tamara. I didn't. In the end, I felt sorry that Pan had used them in that manner. But I also felt frustrated that the series didn't reveal more on their background - especially Tamara, whose surname and reason for joining an organization against magic was never revealed. I didn't blame the characters. I blamed Kitsis and Horowitz.
3. As Rumplestiltskin repeatedly eluded to having faced Peter Pan before, what were you expecting? Besides the Pied Piper business with Bae, what did you think their history was?
I thought Rumpelstiltskin and Pan were former adversaries.
4. Reaction to Pan being Rumple's father?
Shocked beyond belief.
5. Do you think we'll see him again? In flashbacks or the future?
I don't know. I rather doubt it. The last time Rumpel had seen Pan before Season 3 was when he was a boy. The only chance of this happening is if the series decides to do some backstory on Tinkerbell.
