From the ABC press release at the time
After Mr. Gold's house is robbed, Emma keeps a close eye on him when it looks like he wants to track down the criminal and dole out some vigilante justice as payback, and Valentine's Day finds Mary Margaret, Ruby and Ashley having a girls' night out. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Belle agrees to a fateful deal to give up her freedom in order to save her town from the horrors of the Ogre war.

8. We see really for the first time why people are so afraid of Mr. Gold. Did it surprise you at all?
9. This is the episode where Regina has her suspicions confirmed, do you think she was pretty sure or not that sure that Rumple had remembered? And what did you think of the scene in the jail cell between the two of them?
10. Do you think Belle was Lacy while locked away or had no memory what so ever?

2.What do you remember most about the episode?
Gold in sunglasses being a dick to Regina. :D
4. What did you think of this retelling of Beauty and the Beast?
I was very Disney? I liked it.
5. Did this change your opinion of Rumplestilskin at all?
I'd been spoiled for it, so not as such; but it really did show a different side of him, I think. We saw him vulnerable before he got his power, but I don't think we've ever seen that after until this episode. I think this is also one of the few cases where I'm really upset about having been spoiled, about Bae's fate specifically, because I love Belle and Rumple talking about him, and I figure it has a different effect if you don't know the full story. I'm curious what people who saw it in the right order say about this one.
7. Do you feel any sympathy for Gaston? How do you feel Belle would react to knowing what Rumplestilskin did?
Yes. Going by previous experience, Belle would probably forgive him and want to move forward? But Rumple is not being particularly honest anywhere in this episode, and I'm still waiting for something to come to light in the future (I'm still hoping there was originally a specific reason why he asked for Belle, though clearly whatever it was can't have been integral to the curse).
8. We see really for the first time why people are so afraid of Mr. Gold. Did it surprise you at all?
Eh, I can't really say because I didn't see the episode in order, but don't think that's true? Do you mean because he personally beats someone up? Because I think the main reason people are so afraid of him is that he owns the town.
9. This is the episode where Regina has her suspicions confirmed, do you think she was pretty sure or not that sure that Rumple had remembered? And what did you think of the scene in the jail cell between the two of them?
I think she was pretty sure. I mean, there really could be very little doubt as the whether he knew what his "please"s can do. I think it's just that it's important for her to get him into a position where he's forced to confirm it (and a symbolic power of names thing xD ); maybe she needs that to be able to fight him. I love everything about this scene.
10. Do you think Belle was Lacy while locked away or had no memory what so ever?
No memories at all (which really is pretty horrifying to think about). We see her in the last episode, before she remembers, she doesn't act like Lacey at all (which I guess could just be the effect of having sad in a cell for 28 years and being really confused, but I don't think that's how we're meant to read it).
