What other characters do you want to see on this show?

There are so many fantastic characters we have seen so far, but I'm still pretty curious as to what other fairytale characters the show is going to feature. I'm curious to see what characters and even actors others would like to see on the show!

First of all, though we know that Ruby is most definitely Red Riding Hood, I am actually super curious to see how her story lines up with the fairytale because her story is probably the farthest from the fairytale perception I had of her as a child but also the closest to the original story. I guess since Little Red Riding Hood was told as a warning regarding sexual predators it would make sense in the real world Red is a whore, but I really want to see her story.

Second of all, if there is ever a genie or an Aladdin story (crazy and not at all really ever related to Snow White), I would want Robin Williams to play the genie. It will never happen, but I wish. Also, Jafar. Would just be. Fucking. Epic. Although I guess these characters don't make much sense because they don't really relate to the central Snow White story setting. Can I dream?

I guess this is just me, but I wasn't much of a fan of the original Disney princesses after I was past age 6, because, well, they're not super interesting. I would really like to see other characters from the Disneyverse or even more from fairytales Disney isn't known for making major feature films about (Rumpelstiltskin is one and he is definitely, for me, the most interesting character by far).

I don't think we'll ever see her, but I am curious to know if we will ever see Rumpelstiltskin's wife. It would be really fun if she turned out to be a very familiar fairytale character- I have no idea who the fuck it would be, but I think it would be interesting to find out who exactly she was.

I am really curious to know how they would execute this, as the tale is darker than some of the others adapted (with the cannibalism and all that), so I want to see the twist the writers would put on this story.

erm....I don't want to spoil anything for anyone so I won't talk too much about what you've written (as I assume you want to remain spoil-free)

My favorite Disney Princess was always Cinderella, and they did a decent job with her. I'd like to see her return to that origin story though.

In terms of other fairy tales, I recently learned that there's another Snow White in the tale Snow White & Rose-Red: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow-White_and_Rose-Red so that would be interesting.

Also, not Disney or a classic fairy tale, but I loved the book Ella Enchanted when I was younger so I'd like to see another interpretation of that besides the lame movie

I already mentioned this somewhere, but after seeing Prince Thomas disappear near a well I want to see Frau Holle (Mother Hulda). And Rumple and his deals involving children makes me want to see the Pied Piper.

Pinocchio is Disney, though? I think since ABC owns Disney (as far as I know) so anything from the Disneyverse is game.

Nitpicking on the semantics, but a whore sleeps around for money whereas a slut is a very loose woman (or man) so no, I don't think she's a whore. In the pilot though when Emma is first at the inn Granny says "excuse me if my heart attack interfered with your plans to sleep your way down the Eastern Seaboard!"

Me too! I forgot what episode it was for but I saw episode stills of Meghan as Red Riding Hood interacting with Snow, so hopefully we'll get some Red/Granny stuff. I'm guessing the writers will have a whole episode for her as well since she's a semi-regular

Everyone has great suggestions. They had malecifient so I can assume they will have Aurora and the whole sleeping beauty bit. Personally, I just want to see Ariel and Eric. That is my favorite disney movie/HCA story of all time!! The HCA story is much more sad but Disney does a good job with it too.

I don't think they will stray too far from the "fairy tale" theme. So maybe Peter pan, Aladdin and such are too far off. But who knows really.

We don't know if it's the "same genie" with Aladdin but I will make that assumption :)

I think they are just trying to obtain rights to certain things. Anything with Disney is fair game, yes - but what about the original story? All these things have to be taken into consideration.
