1. What do you like about Charming?
He is a steadfast character. He loves his wife and his daughter and is willing to do anything to protect them and the people who count on him.

2. What do you wish was different about Charming?
He can be a bit single minded. In season two he was so focused on getting his family he shirked his duties to the town. Not that I blame him really, but still.

3. What differences do you see in cursed!David and uncursed!David?
cursed!David was an flaming idiot, while uncursed!David is a kind and honorable man.

4. What do you like about cursed!David?
Nothing/that he's gone now.

5. What do you wish was different about cursed!David?
Everything.

6. What would you like to see more of from Charming/David in Season 4?
Bonding with Emma. More snarking at Rumple. Two things I loved was Rumple asking David for help with Belle/Lacey.

7. Do you think the character has grown/changed since The Pilot?
Yes, not a lot though. I don't think FTL!David would have given Hook a second though other than "STAY AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER!" but I think he's sees that people can change.

1. What do you like about Charming? There's a lot to like about Charming. He's kind. He's honorable. He's heroic. He loves his family and will do anything for them. Hell, dude fought off a bunch of Regina's knights while holding a baby. I also like that he's fairly intelligent. He figured out how to defeat the dragon. He managed to lay a trap that caught Snow White (boy the Evil Queen could have used HIM!). He knows when Snow is up to shit and calls her on it. I also like that he's totally NOT afraid of Rumplestiltskin (at least past the Pilot, but there was a fair bit of OOC stuff in that one for what happened later, which is usual for Pilots). He tried to fight the most powerful sorcerer in all the realms with a SWORD.

2. What do you wish was different about Charming? Sometimes he loves his family to the exclusion of all else, including the well being of the town.

3. What differences do you see in cursed!David and uncursed!David? A lot! Cursed David is a bit of a moron. He's not very intelligent. He's a cheating cad (I mean, come on, TWO V-Day cards? Really man?). He seems a bit selfish. Uncursed David is well, Charming. He's a devoted family man, brave and heroic.

4. What do you like about cursed!David? He works at an animal shelter? That's about it.

5. What do you wish was different about cursed!David? Almost everything. I wish he had been a bit more honest, less selfish. I wish that he had told Kathryn he was leaving her for Mary Margaret instead of lying to them both.

6. What would you like to see more of from Charming/David in Season 4? More Daddy Charming scenes with Emma. And bring back the Charming/Rumple bromance! I loved their interactions in season 1 and 2. But we got almost nothing out of them in season 3 and I miss that. They had a really good dynamic.

7. Do you think the character has grown/changed since The Pilot? To some degree. But I think Charming is still very much the same character, always giving people a second chance, sometimes when they don't really deserve it.

Aw, I'm sad I missed this discussion, because I feel like I'm about the only fan who actually likes David Nolan. He was hilarious: everything he did was terrible. Charming doesn't quite measure up.
