Speculation Post for the 2nd Half of the Season

Well that was an ending and a beginning.

So what is next? Given the pieces we have been given, what do you think is next for our heroes.

This is a post for speculation but not spoilers please.

And we went through a lot of emotional turmoil this past Sunday so let’s remember to be polite to each other and comfort each other as we wait until fracking March.

I’ll be over here in a ball sucking my thumb waiting for March.

Here's what I remember (but I cried through the whole episode):

All the EF people went back there. I think they remember everything. So, they remember Emma and Henry.

Storybrooke is gone. Forever?

Emma and Henry have a life together thanks to Regina giving them good memories. I ♥ Regina so hard for doing that. In spite of all the nasty she did, she really is trying to change and that shows that she did.

A year passes and something happens to Snow and Charming because Hook came to get Emma. (Is it wrong that I laughed a bit when she kneed him in his special place after he grabbed her and kissed her?)

It must be something really bad for Hook to cross realms to bring Emma and Henry to the EF, especially since neither remember anyone or anything from there. To them, those are simply fairytales.

Now, here's what I want to happen:

• Snow pregnant. (It bugs me when I know an actress is pregnant and they try to "hide" it...all I do is look for baby bump)

• Regina moving forward with changing her life and not automatically reverting to her old ways but still being snarky and a bit naughty otherwise what fun is that?

• Bae and Belle comforting each other and falling in love.

• Rumpel turning up and being just as he was. He's so much fun when he's a villain.

• Charming being badass and protecting everyone.

• Red back. (but I realize this may not be possible)

• Snow and Regina consoling each other and forging a truce of sorts since they've both lost a child now. But not being besties. That is pushing it.

• Regina REALLY missing Emma.

• Tink retaining some of her badassness.

• Ariel doing anything because she's Ariel.

• Regina wearing as many fabulous and gorgeous outfits as possible.

• Emma and Henry coming to the EF and getting their memories back when Snow kisses Emma and Regina kisses Henry. (Or Regina kisses Emma....oops, sorry my ship is showing)

This, so much! I really want them to do something with the fact that they've both just lost their child. It's too perfect a set-up to just skip over it. (But then, I always want more Snow-and-Regina ...)

I think that was one of the purposes of the scene - to make us laugh and relax a bit after lots of heart-wrenching moments...

I agree with all of these! (Well, I don't particularly want Belle and Bae to fall in love, though I wouldn't mind either). I wonder, if Hook needs to convince Emma to follow him, shouldn't that take him as long as getting her to believe took the first time around? Or did he bring proof?

My main thing? Rumple is not dead. What I WANT to happen is Belle and Bae to go on a quest to find him (and NOT fall in love as far too many seem to want...ugh I hate that idea...Rumple is her TRUE LOVE and I'm pretty sure she's slept with him...I think it would be just a wee bit creepy for her to then fall in love with his son...can you imagine it? "Dude you saw my Dad naked." "Yep.").

The question is what state is he in? The golden magic to me indicates some sort of redemption. My HOPE is that he's rid himself of the Dark One curse while still retaining magic. I want Rumple to be Rumple really, magic and all. I have a hard time seeing him as the "good guy" and so I would hope that he would fall more along the lines of good, but still be a bit grey (not always doing the right thing but trying to at least).

I ultimately want to see Rumple and Belle working together, not trying to find each other/thinking they're dead/whatever. I somehow doubt that will happen but I'm hopeful!

Agreed with everything you said. I'd be upset if Rumple lost all of his magic altogether since it's been such a huge part of his character, and I'd be really upset if they made Belle and Bae fall in love. I think Bae belongs with Emma and Belle with Rumple.

A word to your entire post!
I'd very much like to see Belle and Bae developing a good friendship and not falling in love with each other. And I have always seen Rumple being grey and still having his magic as the best happy-ending for this character.

I second this! I know this show crosses a lot of weird familial lines... but Bae/Belle being together would truly be too much for me. With Red gone, there are so few platonic relationships between men and women.

Some development on the Regina/Robin Hood front. I would love to get to see how they meet and have some joint character development before they get together forever. I'd settle for seeing that in flashbacks.

I think the action is going to take place right after Emma kneed Hook in groin and that the flashbacks will be from the year between his appearance at her door and the disappearance of Storybrooke, mostly setting up how the dire circumstances in EF came to be.

That would be really good! That would help to keep existing structure of the show (now - in the past - now again) and make flashbacks less boring than they were in last eps. I love it!

Shiny Gold Light says that he is not totally gone plus we have the Enchanted forest stories so Rumple yes but Gold no.

OK I have uncurled a little.

I don't think Rumple is out of it but Mr. Gold might be.

I do think that Belle and Bae are going to comfort each other and when Rumple pops back we have a very uncomfortable situation.

Loved Hook's interaction with Emma "Ah well it was worth a try".

I am thinking time runs differently in the two lands.

I do find it odd that Hook snapped to the Enchanted Forest but it was established that he had gone there after Neverland. I figured he would end back up in his quasi Brit land.

I do think that the WWoW (Wicked Witch of the West) is the referred Black Fairy. If you think about it Tink wears green and the Blue Fairy Blue so who is walking around in black?

Also if the memories are wiped (again) then the Charming Regina feud is back on in spades.
