New to the fandom, so apologies if this has already been discussed, but how canon is the Untold Stories app/game? I'm rather curious because the letter from Gold to Belle seems to imply that Belle has no Storybrooke memories and I'd actually love to see that storyline unfold.
Yep! I'm actually sort of excited to see how it all plays out. (Though, sadly for me, it probably won't be according to the cracky ideas that have been floating around in my head.)
It's not considered canon, because the creators aren't really involved in it. However, I remember when there was an uproar because one of the letters was really OOC and someone did step in and have it changed. So the way I see it, you can interpret it any way you wish.
It's been confirmed in interviews and stuff that Belle doesn't have any Storybrooke memories, though. Regina didn't bother to give her any. That's probably why there was no name plate on her door at the asylum, and Moe had no idea what Rumple was talking about during the infamous beat-down. So, in Storybrooke, it was like Belle didn't exist.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was wondering about. I've been going through some of the media, but never came across anything addressing this (and fic seems to love making Moe a terrible father who locks his daughter up for no discernible reason) so I was wondering if I was eagerly anticipating a storyline that wasn't to be.
