Episode Discussion 2x01: Broken
Reality and myth begin to merge as the fairytale characters awaken from Evil Queen Regina's broken curse and remember who they were. But to their dismay, they aren't transported back to fairytale land. To make matters worse, Rumplestiltskin - aka Mr. Gold - in an effort to gain the upper hand in his power struggle with Regina, has introduced magic into the town. In fairytales magic has its place, but in our world it can have unfathomable consequences. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land, Prince Phillip awakens his sleeping beauty, Aurora, but discovers that he and his traveling companion, Mulan, will soon have to face a deadly foe.

Date: 2012-10-01 01:46 am (UTC)I am so glad that we have awkward moments between Snow/Charming & Emma. I really like exploring the dysfunction in families and this seems to be something the writers want to follow through on, so I am super happy about it.
The funny bits were super fun: Regina trying to do magic, Snow telling Emma about the conversations they probably shouldn't have had when she was Mary Margaret, Charming learning about Whale/Snow, etc.
The preview makes me want to see episode two right now, so good job writers for making me want to see more! Especially Re: the Snow/Emma & Charming/Henry situations.
