Episode Discussion 2x01: Broken

Reality and myth begin to merge as the fairytale characters awaken from Evil Queen Regina's broken curse and remember who they were. But to their dismay, they aren't transported back to fairytale land. To make matters worse, Rumplestiltskin - aka Mr. Gold - in an effort to gain the upper hand in his power struggle with Regina, has introduced magic into the town. In fairytales magic has its place, but in our world it can have unfathomable consequences. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land, Prince Phillip awakens his sleeping beauty, Aurora, but discovers that he and his traveling companion, Mulan, will soon have to face a deadly foe.

I'm in love with the opening episode!! I love that the brought Snow and Emma to the EF together. That will give Snow a chance to be motherly to Emma because Emma will be completely out of her element and will need a mentor to guide her through the new world

I also like that they split up Snow and Prince. It gives their relationship tension without giving in to overplayed and quite annoying on again off again tactics. That was okay with MM and David cause they were cursed but for Snow and Charming. No thanks.

I'm hooked!!! Need my next fix already! I loved Mulan and Aurora needs to step up. She's kind of annoying. I'm so excited to learn about what has become of the Enchanted Forest,
