I couldn't figure out where Mary Margaret was going with that, and thought she was going to call her a slut. LOL I was so shocked! But, that probably wasn't what she was going to say. (I hope.)
I think she was going to say it's because Emma is afraid of being hurt or vulnerable. I think MM could already see how guarded Emma was when it came to people; that her tough exterior hid a hurt that went very deep. MM didn't have much room to talk about one nighters considering she had one with Whale. lol!
