Some Emma/Jefferson Plotbunny...

Heya...

after seeing episode 1x21 twice now (mostly because of the sexy beast that's called Sebastian Stan), I just can't get this idea out of my head... it's mostly a fanfic idea of course, and anyone who wants could totally "grab" it...

Or if someone would want to try, I would also love to play some kind of "RPG" with Emma and Jefferson... haven't really done that in a while and only have one RPG (not for OUAT) "running" right now (a 2 person RPG, only me and the other person), so if someone would want to try that out, I would be happy to do it as well...

But now my idea... it has something to do with what happened to Henry in the end of 1x21... ;-)

Henry's life is in danger and Emma is devastated... and so is Jefferson, because he never really wanted to hurt someone. Especially NOT Henry, an innocent child. When he made the deal with Regina, he did it all for Grace. Because he wanted to be with Grace again, but after seeing what he did, he feels guilty and just can't stand watching Emma suffer like this. So he faces her and tells her the truth. The whole truth. That it's his fault and that he helped Regina to get the apple. And OF COURSE Emma is furious and wants to kill him or anything like that, but in the end she realizes that he only did it because he wanted to be with his daughter. Like she always wanted to be with Henry... so they are kind of in the same "boat" with this. And Jefferson truly wants to make up for it. He wants to find a cure and he wants to help Emma (and Henry for that matter), so he totally turns against Regina, which of course won't be without consequences, but Jefferson doesn't fear her at all.
Bonus points if Emma is in a "I already lost Graham and Henry might die, I don't wanna lose you too" sort of state, finally realizing, that Henry was right the whole time, and that Regina indeed might have killed Graham as well, so she fears for Jefferson's life, becaues everyone in her life had left her, and she doesn't want that anymore, but Jefferson promises her not to go anywhere.

So yeah... long story short... a little bit of a hurt/comfort fanfic with Emma and Jefferson finding together in the course of finding a cure for Henry, and Emma FINALLY seeing Jefferson for what he really is - a loving father who wants what's best for his child - and not the crazy man she assumed he was...

Like I said: I just can't get this out of my head, but since I'm no native english speaker, I don't know if I could pull something like that off... so feel free to "steal" the plotbunny... I'd love to read something like that... them realizing that they aren't as different as - especially Emma - thought in the beginning...
