Some questions I had while watching 1x21

Please bear with me, I might have to re-watch the episode since it was 4.30 a.m. where I was when I finally watched it... but there were some things that just didn't make much sense to me...

First, Jefferson... Where has he been and where did he come from all of a sudden? And why did Regina even know he was there again? I mean, he was in his house, right? He said something along the lines of "You know I was watching her" (his daugher Paige/Grace of course) and so she could get in "contact" with him... and if he was in his house the whole time, why making it so complicated by placing the card? Why not just showing up at his house?
And he can leave the house since Emma is there, right? That kind of "broke the curse" of him being trapped in this house the whole time?

Also... I can be wrong, but didn't Regina say to Jefferson she wants to go to Fairytale Land to get rid of Emma? to get rid of her problem? How exactly would she have wanted to do that? It sounded like she wanted to kill Emma... and she wanted to go back to do so... Fine, but I mean, if she would have done that (and like I said, TO ME it sounded like that), it would have meant she would have killed Henry all along, right? No Emma, no Henry... or wasn't she thinking this far?

And then Henry eating the pie... I actually saw that totally coming the minute Regina "took" the apple "back"... I simply KNEW Henry would eat the apple, but I was thinking he might do it by accident... like seeing the cake and being all a kid like "Yummie, Cake"... I didn't think he would do it on purpose, but I think it was maybe the "right thing" to do? I don't really know... I mean at SOME point Emma just HAS TO open up to the idea that not everything is black or white...

And what else proof does she need? First, there was "just" Henry telling this story, but more and more people "turned to her"... are they ALL crazy? Especially August and Jefferson? What benefit would they have by telling her something like that? Yes, I GET that this all sounds strange and unbelievable, but more and more people turning up and KNOWING about the curse...

And what about Graham? Is it REALLY Graham that will come back next episode or "just" the huntsman? because if it's Graham, he's another person that KNOWS about the curse and knows about Regina... Emma  can't close her eyes from reality forever... especially not when her son is in danger of dying, right? SOMETHING has to happen...

(I don't think Henry really dies, though... I think, that's the "red herring" for the finale - we know SOMEONE will die, and now the promo makes everyone think it could be Henry... or August for that matter... if it's one of the 2, my money's on August...)

Also... why did Regina KNOW who Emma is all of a sudden? I thought she didn't know before and just because of this dream she does? This is all pretty strange and I hope, we'll get an explanation for it...

By the way, I was totally gushing over Sebastian Stand... Man, this guy is a hot bastard, and I couldn't have been in the same room with him without jumping him *coughs* Yes, I'm that shallow XD

Regina rewrote everyone's stories including Jefferson and she knew that he would remember everything (that was his curse). As for the White Rabbit card, i assume she was toying with him as she usually do. Jefferson's re-appearance is rather strange and I had hoped it would be cleared up but who knows? I don't think he is forced to stay in his house. I think that its his obsession with making a working hat that keeps him there.



I think Emma needs the convincing. Plus I am really curious as to what Regina will do once she finds out it was her apple that caused Henry's sleeping death and Regina does seem to love Henry (in her own way).

Emma is really resisting it all. She never had a family so to have her son that she put up for adoption tell her that her family is stuck in time and is Snow White and Prince Charming (which has to be every foster kid's dream) is a dream she's long given up on. She's the girl that ran away from everything, always moving on, never making any person connections so, like MM pointed out, she's reverting back to the Emma she used to be.

I don't know anything about Graham but I think it'd be the Huntsman as surely Graham is dead and buried by now. I think the fact that Henry falls into a coma due to an apple pie that he INSISTED was poisoned HAS to ring some alarms for Emma.


Ah, but remember, when Regina asked Mr Gold who Emma is, Mr. Gold replies, "you know exactly who she is." A girl who is 28 years old who turns up 28 years after the curse is created in a town that rarely sees strangers, Regina is a smart woman and figured it out.

Okay, that makes sense... that with Regina... why she knows who Emma is and so on... so thanks for that, you're right... I'm sure she figured it out herself...

Ausiello's Spoilers said that it will be GRAHAM who will be back, but I highly doubt it myself... I was pretty sure he would be "Only" in a flashback with the Evil Queen or something and as the Huntsman, but we'll see...

I think, it's time for Emma to face the truth... to really realize that all Henry and Jefferson and August were telling her was the truth... I mean, yes, it IS unbelievable, but so much has happened and she HAS TO finally open her eyes or Henry is gonna die... but maybe that's what "wakes her up"? Henry "dying" but when she finally gives in to the truth that saves him? I could defintiely imagine that...

I don't know where this list is right now, but there is a list and it doesn't say "The Huntsman"... I don't know if this list is from Ausiello, though...

I'm sure in all the spoilers I read, it always said The Huntsman, never Sheriff Graham/Huntsman. I took to mean that it wouldn't be Graham, but the Huntsman in a flashback into fairytale land.
Either way, if he turned back up again, Emma would definetly have to agree something isn't right here....

Okay, they MUST HAVE updated the list, becaues last time I checked I'm pretty sure they were saying "Sheriff Graham", but maybe I was just fantasizing or something like that... thanks a lot, though... :) But yeah... then it's "only" the Huntsman and not REALLY a resurrection at all...

Still, it would have been nice to have him back and therefor another one that knows abotu the curse ;-)

Yeah, I wish it was Graham we were getting to the depth of my fangirling heart. I can live with the huntsman, but I could also live with Graham and August on my screen every week...I could live with that a lot lol!

So, your question of "where the hell did Jefferson appear from" NEEDS TO BE ANSWERED!

Not that I wasn't SO GLAD to see his beautiful face.... but ummm seriously? Where did he go? Where has he been? Has he been in the hat?? Watching Paige? Did the hat save his fall and he just run away? WHERE ARE THE ANSWERS!

As for someone dying.... I don't think anyone is going to die. Perhaps Pinocchio/August, but that would be really sad considering that means that Gheppetto never gets his happy ending... even if the curse does break. Maybe that's his price of magic. He wanted Magic to save his son, but he couldn't save his son from himself. I don't think Henry dies either. Because that's not the method of the poisoned apple.

Yes, the questions... I really don't know where he could have been. I mean, Mary Margret and Emma were looking for him. He can't have just vanished, right? and now he's "back" like he never was gone? Strange thing...

I also would find it quite sad, if Pinoccio would die, but what I'm saying is: IF someone dies, it's not Henry... I'm sure of that ;)

Someone is going to die in the finale. In that same May sweeps scorecard on Ausiello's site that I linked to above, it has Once Upon a Time listed in Number of Fatalities section too.

I don't want it to be anyone, ESPECIALLY August.
We were thinking that it will be King George. He's not around in the first episode when James marries Snow, but he does exist in Storybrook. The other thought we had was Marco. August stated that he wanted to spend his remaining time with his father. Maybe, though, it wasn't August's time that is about to run out....

Yeah but August DOES turn into wood again... at least it looks that way, and Henry sees it too (only Emma doesn't *rolleyes*), so I don't really know... I mean, if the major part of the people in storybrook does NOT see/believe in the curse, what explanation would there be for his death? But we'll see... you could be right about Marco and either Henry AND August are red herrings and it's someone no one does expect to die... someone surprising...

I wondered where the heck Jefferson had been too! Of course, I also wondered why - when he was knocked out the window and disappeared - no one wondered at his whereabouts then. :p So glad to see him back though!

Graham might be back? Oooh, that'd be nice. I miss him. :(

I think everything looks more like the Huntsman, in a flasback most likely, but I'm still glad we're gonna see SOMETHING of him.

And yes, at least Emma and MM should have wondered what happened to him and NOT just waved it off...

I had the same question of Jefferson. If he's in Storybrooke then where did he go when he went through the hat? Maybe Regina's Mental Dungeon? Or maybe in the woods? And yes he can leave the house now, I believe he could since Emma showed up.

Regina probably wanted him to come to her instead of going to his place as a tactical move. She'd be more vulnerable way out at his house.

I think she wanted Jefferson to go back to get the Apple. She knows she can't kill Emma, so she needed something that would be like killing her but still have her alive enough to keep the curse going.

Little Henry was just awesome, he sacrificed himself to bring back everyone’s happiness. For that reason alone I can't see him dying. I think Emma will give him True loves kiss and he will wake up. August on the other hand, I agree with you. It’s not looking good.

I don't think Regina knew all of a sudden. She had her suspicions for a while, the dying apple try probably confirmed it.

As for Graham, I'm pretty sure we will only see him as the Huntsmen in flashbacks. I believe I read ton a spoiler site somewhere a while ago that it would only be his FTL character that returns.

To ME it sounded like Regina would have wanted to kill Baby Emma, so she could get rid of everything, but maybe you are right and she wanted the apple all along... that would definitely make sense, yes...

I also think Henry's sacrifice was awesome... and I hope it FINALLY makes Emma believe... at least a little bit... I mean, she propably still won't know how to break the curse and everything, but she should defintiely open up to the idea already...

I also think it will be "only" the Huntsman we're gonna see... there were some spoilers floating around that said "Sheriff Graham", but those were "edited" and now say Huntsman, so Huntsman it is, I think!
