I agree. Robin should have lived. Then he and Regina could have lived happily together and helped Snow and Charming rule. It also would have been nice to have a different S7 that featured the original cast trying to unite the realms against new villains. (Though I understand why they went the route they did.) It would have been nice for if writers acknowledged that Cora's abuse caused Regina's villainy and allowed her to delve more into that with Archie. I think she blamed Snow because she couldn't/wouldn't blame Cora. She and Rumple would have benefitted from some acknowledgement that their abusive parents were the root of their problems.

Currently, I am watching S7 for the first time and it is...interesting. lol!

Ginnifer Goodwin has mentioned that she is interested in an OUaT reboot. Now that could be something worth watching.
