Hades refers to Zeus as his older brother and implies that he was banished to the Underworld by Zeus. In Disney's Hercules, Zeus is also the older brother and Hades was unwillingly granted ownership of the Underworld by him. (In Greek mythology, Hades is the oldest brother, and he and his brothers drew lots to decide which parts of the world each would rule.)
