"The Price of Gold" is the first time we see the computer-generated imagery model created for the interior of Prince Thomas' castle. The set is recycled and reused for King Xavier's castle in the Season Two episode "The Miller's Daughter" and Prince Eric's castle in the Season Three episode "Ariel". This can be seen from the archways, and the balcony outside, which have a very similar design.

The model is used again for the Camelot castle courtyard in Season Five, and the Prince's castle in the Season Seven premiere "Hyperion Heights", which can be seen from the archways and the railing on top of them.
