The purple coats worn by two of King Midas' servants are the same coats worn by the Genovia footmen in the 2004 romantic comedy film The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. The same coats are worn by a bunch of other servants throughout the series:

• The King's servants in the Season Seven premiere "Hyperion Heights"
