Anyone watching Lana Parilla in Why Women Kill on Paramount+? In my humble opinion, she is playing Evil Queen Regina as the wife of a wealthy old man. She's good but...it's just EQ Regina without the magic. Maybe that's what Marc Cherry wanted.

I'm not watching it because that was my impression when I saw the trailers for the show. That, and it just seemed like a 1940's (?) version of Desperate Housewives.

Allison Tolman, who plays Alma (the main character), is a phenomenal actress. There are some twists and turns that I'm enjoying. I never watched Desperate Housewives so I can't speak to that. However, they just went down the whole revenge path with Rita, (LP's character), that is SO Regina toward Snow.

I haven't seen this yet, but will definitely put on my "watch" list. I love Lana in anything.

Did you watch S1? Ginnifer Goodwin was in that season. The show is just so good. Allison Tolman is the main character this season and I just think she is wonderful.
