Date: 2012-03-13 03:06 am (UTC)The producers have come out and stated that Emma won't even believe Henry this season. They hinted that she may not even believe him a little for another season. My guess is that the end of S1 will be more about the Curse's rules and a power struggle between Gold and Regina.

Date: 2012-03-13 04:16 am (UTC)I agree with that. I'd really like them to start focusing on characters they already have. (Just less Snow/Charming in S2, please!)
And, of course, why not The Princess & The Frog? This shows lacks ethnic variety,
The Princess and The Frog was based off of the Frog Prince. And while Disney made their heroine AA for that cartoon, the fable is German in origin. But, I get what you are saying. The show has established that they will be using fairy tales, stories, and folk legends from around the world: case in point, the Genie and the fact that they want to bring Aladdin in.
I'd like to see them use more stories from outside the Grimm tales, if only so they would cast POC in major roles. If only for an episode. I'd love to see them bring in some Chinese and Japanese folk tales, actually.
