Photo Of The Day--Thursday and new option here

This is the best comm I've ever been a part of and I would like to offer up a new option here: to post when you need good thoughts, positive vibes or prayers or to post when something really great happens. I know Oncers care and our Oncers really care.

So, I'll start. Yesterday my mother broke her ankle and foot. She fell getting out of the shower. This is the same leg she broke 2 years ago. I spent most of the day at Bartow Regional's ER with her. Thankfully, the staff there is fantastic. My mom is 77 years old but none of the staff treated her as an old lady who was expendable. Believe me, she's been treated that way in the past. One doctor told her he was no longer going to treat her back pain because she is "no spring chicken." It was all I could do not ot punch him.
Also, just because God has a sense of humor, our A/C is leaking and now the money we put aside to get it fixed must be spent on her. I don't mind it a bit but it just a case of when it rains, it pours.
So, if you would send some good thoughts, positive vibes or prayers out for us, I'd appreciate it. I know Mama would, too.

If there is something going on in your lives, leave a post. You don't have to go into detail as I did. You can simply say "I need some good thoughts" and leave it at that. We'll do the rest. ♥

So sorry your mom is experiencing this - and what an awful and uncaring comment that very un-empathetic staffer said. What a creep!
