Ruby was mad, not just mad but pissed. How dare the people of this town treat Mary Margret like she was the most evil woman ever to walk. Sure she was having an affair with a married man, not like she was the only one in the town to do so. Ruby herself could name five women whom were having affairs with men not their husbands. Ruby had said as much to Granny last night, Ruby even named a few names. The only difference was that MM got caught, that was all. Now Granny tells her that MM may get fired from her job as a teacher.
“Damn hypocrites.” Ruby said as she slammed her hand on the counter.
“And what has you so upset my dear.” Mr. Gold said as he sat down.
“Just the way this town is treating MM. All because she fell in love with a married man, now I heard that she may lose her job, because of it.” Ruby sat a cup of coffee down before him and filled it.
Sipping his drink Gold thought. “I agree with you. I personally know several women who lets say have made payments on their backs and knees, as well as quite a few men. Now I have never requested that mode of payment, I much prefer cash but I don’t turn it down when offered. Though not all of my affairs have been because of money, some are for pleasure. “
Ruby placed her elbows on the counter and her chin in her hands. “Oh do tell.”
“Anther time my dear. Emma and I are meeting at my shop to discuss a security system. “
Mr. Gold left the dinner, Ruby went back to work. What neither knew someone was listening very intently to them, someone who had made up his mind to do something about what they were talking about.
The next day Mr. Gold found a small gift box on his counter, in side was a flash drive and a type written note. : Mr. Gold please use this to help Ms. Blanchard. :
Taking it into him office he plugged the drive into his computer, and what he saw made him smile. He then called Ruby and Emma to join him.
Later that week at the Storybrook PTA meeting to decide MM fate Mr. Gold, Ruby, and Emma walked in and sat next to MM, Gold patted her hand and smiled at her. Regina rose from the table. “Now Ladies and Gentlemen it is time to decide weather of not Ms. Blanchard is moral enough to teach the impressionable children in our schools.”
Ruby held up her hand .”Madam Major, may I speak first.”
Regina gave Ruby her, yes I’ll let you do what you want only so I can rip you apart after, smile. “Of course Ruby.”
Ruby walked up to the stage and faced Storybrook’s town’s people. “As everyone here knows that Mary Margret Blanchard has been having an affair with David Noland. What no one else knows is that, that affair was 100% platonic, for those of you with limited IQs that means they never had sex.
What is not known, is that I hold in my hand a flash drive and on this flash drive is all the dirty little secrets of everyone in this town. To give an example the high school teacher who trades passing grades for blowjobs. The respectable church goer who is screwing her stepson. The….”
One woman stood up and started to leave. “I did not come here to listen to such lies and filth.”
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you Gladys. “ Mr. Gold said without looking at the woman who turned red and sat back in her chair.
“All right, now unless all of you want your dirty laundry exposed on the internet , back off. MM keeps her job and is no longer shunned or treated like a leper. Compared to the rest of you MM is as pure as Snow White. And before you even think of trying to steal this drive, we have more .”
With that Ruby, Emma, Mr. Gold, who had MM on his arm left.
