Episode Discussion 1x12: Skin Deep

After Mr. Gold's house is robbed, Emma keeps a close eye on him when it looks like he wants to track down the criminal and dole out some vigilante justice as payback, and Valentine's Day finds Mary Margaret, Ruby and Ashley having a girls' night out. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Belle agrees to a fateful deal to give up her freedom in order to save her town from the horrors of the Ogre war.

OMG I love your reviewing style. I also love that you call him Skinny, cause I can't spell Rumplewatever :P And he is skinny anyway lol.

The Gaston thing was great though it bugged me that she didn't cut the rose enough and it looked wilted in the vase. That was my lipstick moment lol. Though I suppose that could've been on purpose.

The last Skinny/Belle scene was annoying with them dancing around the subject and almost purposely screwing it up but then the writers used to work for lost so...

I feel bad for Belle, I know how evil psych drugs can be. And though I don't want her dead or anything Queen lady does have a world of hurt coming.

I hope it doesn't take Skinny too long to figure it all out. I mean clearly she ain't on your side man, get a clue and know she's lying every time she opens her mouth.

Casa Rumpelstiltskin was awesome. So much rather be his housekeeper then Gaston's wife any day. I thought the falling of the ladder thing was sweet, although sappy, but I'm a die-hard shipper so I like it that way lol. And Skinny's "It's just a cup" was brilliant. Though I can understand her worry as he could have lost it. He is a little (lot?) unstable. Though it can clearly be something they have in common in the future. Again, poor Belle

Skinny will be a powerful ally in the war on Queenie. Imho this ep changes everything!

And Prince Charming is an ass, Snow is an idiot, and I wash my hands of both of them.

That 'falling off the ladder' bit was twee, but in a cute way, I think. At least they didn't have him catch her and fall down as well, so she'd be on top of him and they'd be all "ooh, you guys, look at all this sexual tension that we have".
