We record the shows we want to see (my DVR will record 6 shows at once) and then watch them the following afternoon. The only exceptions to this are OUaT, TBBT and Project Runway. I MUST start watching them about 20-30 minutes after they start airing.
Otherwise, I watch Food Network, Cooking Channel or reruns of Sex and The City when I can find them.
