Speculation Post for Season 4 Episode 2 for White Out

We haven’t done one of these in a while so I thought I would repost the rules since we are starting a new season and we have some new members.

The speculation post is for what YOU think is going to happen next. We have a spoiler tag and section for those of us who what to see what is going to happen next but this is not the place for it.

Please be polite. Not all ships are beloved but we strongly believe that no one should be made to feel bad about what they ship.

There is no wrong here because we are speculating on what is going to happen. Doesn’t really matter what happens in the end because we want our imaginations to go wild and see what we can come up with.

So Elsa is in Storybrooke. Her sister is missing. Gold had her sister’s pendant. Why? And how did Rumple get the urn that imprisoned Elsa?

Emma is trying to repair what she did to Regina and Regina came up with a rather clever plan to get her happy ending. What do you think of her plan?

Beauty and the Beast had their first dance and, by the looks of it, a good shag in someone’s house. So who owns the house?

The Charmings have a lovely new son. Who gets diaper duty?

These are just a few things to think about as we talk about what may be.

“White Out” – While desperately trying to find her sister Anna, Elsa is startled by Emma and accidentally traps them both inside an ice cave, with the frozen temperature placing Emma's life in peril. Regina, depressed over her likely breakup with Robin Hood, secludes herself away from the town and Henry, which saddens her son. And with the townspeople considering Mary Margaret their leader, she faces her first leadership task in trying to re-start a generator and restore the town’s electricity after Elsa freezes and damages the power lines. Meanwhile, in the Enchanted Forest of the past, Anna tries to teach a meek David to fight Bo Peep, a brutal warlord who is threatening to take his and his mother's farm away if they don’t pay her price,

Bo Peep the brutal warlord? Really? OK, I'll roll with that.

Interesting that they are putting Anna before any of the events we have seen so far in David's life.

I think the hat belongs to Yen Sid and if they are smart they will get Peter Calpaldi to play him (Not gonna happen since Mr. Calpaldi is currently a Time Lord on another series but it would have been nice) so the manor belongs to him as well.

I think the dagger and the hat are connected somehow.

We have seen the hat in Rumple's castle in Skin Deep. It was in the background but it is there.

I thought it was brilliant that Regina wants the writer of the book that has set out what her life is going to be to change it for her. That is a twist I didn't see coming and it lends itself to so many possibilities.

I think Hook is eventually going to get through to Emma about living in the now since they seem to go from crises to crises.

How very observant of you! I haven't noticed that!
It's good to know that the hat wasn't just plucked out of the air. There must be a good story behind it! And probably one more skeleton in Rumple's cupboard.

I thought it was brilliant that Regina wants the writer of the book that has set out what her life is going to be to change it for her. That is a twist I didn't see coming and it lends itself to so many possibilities.

I liked that twist too. I suppose by changing her fate in the book Regina will regain her Evil Queen title. I'm sure it's impossible to change only her fate and leave the rest as they are. Changing anything will surely entail devastating consequences to all characters (cause we know how badly the writers like to keep us on our toes!). And Regina will be the one to blame. Again.

Then again, Regina might drop the matter. What is the point of hiring Elizabeth Mitchell as the new Big Bad, if Regina is supposed to be destined to become "the Evil Queen" again?

Maybe Elsa and Regina will team up? I haven't seen Frozen. I thought Elsa wasn't a bad guy there (not that Bo Peep was a warlord in the nursery rhyme).

I wonder if we will see anything with the mirror from the Snow Queen (the HCA story with the mirror that made people see the worst in everything) and Regina's mirror. Or maybe it's just coincidence that Sidney returned in the same season that they do Frozen.

I hope she will. I wholeheartedly hate the idea of her becoming "the evil" again, but by her plan revealed in the first episode I suggested that she might soon do something terrible (without any intention of doing so). I'm sorry, I've been avoiding spoilers and most of the news during the hiatus. So I had no idea that a new baddie had been announced and could only judge by the events of the ep.
I agree that having a new Big Bad around should keep Regina on the good side.

I know people keep saying that Regina only wants to give herself a happy ending and not change anyone else's necessarily, but I can see her changing other people's endings inadvertently. Maybe the happy ending won't be quite so happy - maybe she'll end up with Robin only to find he's not the same Robin she fell for, or maybe she'll accidentally cause Henry to no longer exist?

As for Bo Peep, the warlord thing is...interesting. I would like to see her interact with the Snow Queen though purely for the Juliet and Rachel reunion I was deprived of on Lost.

I second this. I believe there is no way to change someone's fate without changing anything else. Should Regina try to change her fate, there will be consequences.

Considering the damage that Emma had created by changing the time, I guess she and Regina will have something in common.
