It was me wondering if they were going to the greek god way with Pan. And the more I see the more I wonder.
Depending on which version of the tales of Pan that you read, he was the god of shepherds and their flocks along with hunting and rustic music. He was attached to the wilds of Arkadia and had a bad habit of being a bit of a nymph chaser. The flock thing does turn back to Rumple since he was a spinner of wool.
He is suppose to have goat feet but can use magic to hide them.
