Emma ship-doms, post "Tallahassee"

abc_onceuponStill trying to catch upon the last few weeks of OUAT, and after seeing Tallahassee, I'm curious how the fandom is folding out into Emma/August, Emma/Hook, and Emma/Neal camps? Do they have names yet? :)
And... call me a bit more optimistic, but it was pretty clear to me that
Hook was going to be released after 10 hours and Hurley-giant would probably explain what was going on.
Also, the last conversation between Em/Hook was one of my favorites this episode. You could tell Emma's trust issues lie largely with the Neal incident, instigated by a very unreliable August.
For me, this was an interesting open ended exchange. If Hook has a clue, he would have seen that Emma's actions were from someone who was afraid -- stock material in romance tropes. (Heh.) Or, if he isn't all that perceptive, I'm sure he could go for some payback.
What are you guys thinking will happen with Hook/Emma?
On a random note - this episode which featured all "three" dudes in various layers, I was actually thinking the Em/dude interactions thus far are very screwed up with all three gents.

Date: 2012-11-24 03:03 am (UTC)Neal is probably the biggest obstacle for that pairing. Even with all that has happened, I'm not sure if Emma would move on from Neal. She seems to hang on to her feelings for him despite what she thinks happened. Or there could be the possibility that Neal and Emma have moved on, but need closure...so again, we'll see.
All I know is that I'm a Captain Swan shipper by a ton! Even if I really like Neal.

Well, I think Emma is a very screwed up person (as are the guys). All of Emma's relationships/interactions are screwed up, it seems. Personally I don't ship Emma with anyone, really...I just want to see her become healthy and get Henry back.

So the Emma/Killian interactions really stand out a lot on this show... which is why I hope it happens a lot more.

As for Emma - you're absolutely right. I don't think she's going to be going anywhere romantically for a long time. I feel like that her heart won't fall in love until this show is at least a few seasons in or done.
SHe's the last grounded person really -- the real voicepiece for our world and our way of thinking. To lose her to a "fairyland" type way of storyline that involves sappy romance would kind of bother me as I feel it's far too soon.

Date: 2012-11-24 10:08 pm (UTC)the link will take you to there fanfics. its so cool even though Hook has been on for a few weeks that there is over 70 stories of CAPTAIN SWAN and also if you just leave Hooks name in the search engine you get over 170 stories about him with other characters. they've shipped him with Aurora, Belle, Ariel and Ruby.

I wonder if the writers have any -earthy- idea what a beast they unleashed amongst the fangirls.
