In The Apprentice, the man and woman eating spaghetti at the restaurant and leaning forward for a kiss are a reference to the iconic spaghetti scene from the 1955 film Lady and the Tramp. The waiters are dressed like Tony, the waiter from the movie. According to the menu, the restaurant itself is called Tony's, the same as Tony's Restaurant, the restaurant from Lady and the Tramp, which is also known as just "Tony's". The candles in a bottle, the table cloths, and the basket of breadsticks sitting on Emma and Hook's table are similar to the ones seen in the famous spaghetti scene.
