Title: "Winter's Night" (Chapters 3- 6)
Characters: Killian Jones / Captain Hook, Emma Swan, Henry Mills, Cora + references to Rumplestiltskin and Milah.
Pairing: Killian Jones (Hook) and Emma Swan.
Rating / Warnings for Chapters 3-6: These chapters range from PG13 to R and NC-17. Some scenes may possibly be triggering and/or disturbing. The various chapters contain sexual situations (tastefully described love making), adult language, torture, horror, violence, character death + romance, angst, and suspense. Please note that each chapter individually displays the proper ratings and warnings.
Spoilers: Set shortly after Season 3 mid-season winter finale "Going Home". Contains Season 2 and Season 3 spoilers.
Special Note: AU ~ While "Winter's Night" does follow the general premise of the series (most especially with regards to Season 2 and Season 3), it's my own AU spin.
Summary: On the longest and darkest night of the year, Killian's mind is cast back to the past. Eleven years ago in Portland, he met the love of his life ~ The young Emma Swan. Is their love strong enough to survive the depraved evil that seeks to utterly destroy them?
Disclaimers: Obviously this series and characters belong to Eddy, Adam, and ABC. I'm just a devoted fan playing in their sandbox (who obviously adores Hook and Emma, and can't get enough of them), and make no profit, etc. The same applies to the David Bowie song lyrics referenced in my story.

Summary: With Swan's mind so focused on something other than the here and now, any interruption of her thoughts was going to startle her. Still, Hook tried to be as unobtrusive as possible when he softly asked, "When was the last time you slept, love?"

Rating/Warning: PG for language. Some angst and some Captain Swan sweetness.
Disclaimer: Once Upon a Time and its characters were created by Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz and are owned by ABC. I borrowed them because, well, it's hiatus. I figure they can work for me for a little while since they're not being used at the moment.
Author's Note: I have a multichapter I should be working on, but this is the kind of thing that results when a ship eats my brain. Again, please excuse my mixing of musical metaphors, because although the title comes from the old song originally by The Five Satins, the inspiration for this story came from Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off You." ( ... I like oldies. Shush. ;)) Feedback would thrill me to pieces! Enjoy.
