Title: Game Day
Summary: "The snow's not going anywhere and we've got a very long day ahead of us." "Which begs the question," Henry continued, undeterred. "What are we going to do?" "I'm all for taking a nap," Emma grumbled at the same time as Snow suggested dragging out some board games. Emma blinked at her mother. "Board games? Seriously?"

Spoilers: None, really, but let's just say everything up through 2x11, "The Outsider."
Rating/Warning: K+, for Emma's mouth. No real warnings to speak of, but you might want to keep a toothbrush handy, because this is cotton-candy-fluffy.

Author's Note: There really is a Fascination parlor at Nantasket Beach and it really is a lot of fun. I've had the last chapter of this story mentally written since about the fifth chapter, and you have no idea how much of a relief it was to get it down on paper and out of my head. A/N: Thanks to aurilly for the beta! Also, I hope you don’t mind that August is the main OUAT character here. I know you didn’t mention him in your sign up but this idea’s appealed to me for a while – he was kind of the obvious person for a reunion with Jack.

Summary: Jack is surprised to receive a letter from an old friend summoning him to his sickbed. He hasn’t seen August Booth since they spent a few days together in Phuket, and can’t understand why he’s contacting him now. But he wouldn’t believe August even if he told him. Desperate to convince Emma to believe in the curse, August needs help from the one person he knows who’s always determined to fix things: Jack Shephard.
