Title: The Five Stages of Grief (Complete; 7 Chapters)
Author:
snarkysweetness
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Emma Swan, Sheriff Graham Humbert/The Huntsman, August W. Booth/Pinocchio, Henry Mills, Mary Margaret Blanchard/Snow White, Prince ‘Charming’ James, Mother Superior/The Blue Fairy, Geppetto, Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin, Belle, Ruby Lucas/Red Riding Hood, & Archie Hopper/Jiminy Cricket; Emma/Graham, Emma/August, Snow/Charming, & Belle/Rumpelstiltskin.
Summary: “There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us, but there are always five.” Emma grieves for Graham and when she is finally ready to move on it’s time to start the grieving process over, this time for August.
Warnings: Angst. There is all the angst in the world in this thing.
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
Author’s Notes: While re-watching the Season Six opening for Grey’s Anatomy, I got inspired to write this because poor Emma keeps losing the men in her life. The quote used throughout is from the Grey’s Anatomy episodes ‘Good Mourning’ and ‘Goodbye’. I started this during the summer break from the show, so there is nothing from Season Two in here. Thanks to my wife for reading this despite the amount of feels it gave her.
