The season premiere of season two is today and I have finished my season one picspams just under the wire! \o/ In order to get it finished in time I had to keep things rather short, which was difficult since I loved the episode, but I still have four favorite scenes and commentary.

Summary: Regina didn't know where she was running. She just knew that she had to run. She had to find somewhere to hide.

Spoilers: Takes place during 1x22, "A Land Without Magic."
Characters: Regina Mills, with mentions of Henry, Snow, Emma, and Gold.
Rating/Warning: PG-13, mostly for safety. Possible trigger warning.
Disclaimer: Once Upon a Time and its characters were created by Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz and are owned by ABC. It's not my fault they created characters that are so much fun to play around with, but I'll return them unharmed!

I'm very pleased that the series has been renewed, and the new episodes are now upon us.

I need to catch up on Once upon a Time episodes (so am going to buy S1 this week)...but the description on my cable for the Season Two pilot of Once upon a Time is curious:

So, all in all, I'm looking forwards to finishing watching Season One and beginning to watch Season Two of Once upon a Time.

Did s1 ever explain that?

When I think of Once upon a Time, my thoughts return to a statement Snow White's father made...and I was wondering if season 1 ever addressed it after the King said it to the Genie: that everyone in his kingdom is happy.

if S1 has explained how that is possible, then YAY! (one more answer to see on the DVD), and just say its on there; ...if not, are any of these reasons likely?

* the Ego answer: he, the King of the Kingdom, says everyone is happy - therefore, as far as he is concerned, everyone is happy.
* the Magic answer: whether through a wish or other means, magic was used, to force everyone in the Kingdom to be happy.
* the Dictator answer: if anyone in the Kingdom expresses dissatisfaction or unhappiness, they're arrested and-or faced with reprisals.
* Other: ?
