abc_onceuponThe Other Shoe is a reference to the Glass Slippers and the "other" side of the story. It is also a reference to the Charles Perrault version of the "Cinderella" fairytale, where Cinderella, after the prince puts the glass slipper on her foot, proceeds to produce the other slipper, which she has kept. In the Disney film adaptation, Lady Tremaine shatters the prince's copy of the glass slipper, but Cinderella proves her identity by presenting the other slipper. Nelson Soler (writer and supervising producer) came up with the title for this episode.
