Tvequals has listed their top five couples who need to get together - now. And, Mary Margaret and David are number five.

Confession: I don’t want Mary Margaret and David to reconnect because I’m invested in their happiness; I want them to reconnect because their non-relationship is exhausting. Once Upon a Time has proven itself to be an unexpectedly wonderful fantasy treat, but if it has a weak spot it’s the real life side of Snow White and Prince Charming’s courtship. First he was in a coma, then he had a wife, then David and Mary Margaret had an affair and now Mary Margaret has been arrested for the supposed murder of David’s wife. It’s all too much!

I propose we set them up in a cozy cottage and let them spend next season fending off Regina’s attempts to sabotage their happiness as a team. We can still have plenty of drama, but we can have it without all the weeping, guilty kisses and surprise wives.
- the article

My Thoughts: I've made no secret of this: I find MM/David to be an annoying and exhausting romance. I like Snow/Charming, but I rather dislike David and MM annoys me quite a bit when she's with/thinking/talking about David. What do you guys think? They say any articles are great for the show, and I'd agree.

SpoilerGuide has released a little info about "The Stranger" aka episode twenty.

- August tells Emma how to beat Regina and how she can get custody of Henry, while Regina hatches a plot to seduce David now that Mary Margaret is back at work.

- In the fairy-tale world, a plan to save Snow White and Prince Charming’s daughter unfolds and is agreed to by Geppetto, who has his own child’s safety in mind.

My Thoughts: I will. . .I'll do something if the writers give David/MM more ANGST by having David sleep with Regina. Especially if MM doesn't find out until next season. Especially if they try to do a love triangle in season two. I just can't with that nonsense.

My guess is that Geppetto will be torn and want to send his son instead of the baby. :( Maybe the idea that August is Pinocchio are true?!

Thank you for sharing! Yes I am hoping that August is Pinocchio especially after reading the spoilers about Geppetto being torn about wanting to send his son instead of the baby. Could be more interesting in my opinion. :) Plus I always loved the story of Pinocchio.

August tells Emma how to beat Regina and how she can get custody of Henry - I'm not a fan of that for one reason: Regina treats Henry like a mother and Emma treats him like a doting Aunt. With Regina, Henry's going to get his homework done. He's going to get to bed on time. With Emma, Henry can skip school 'just this once' to go on an adventure with her and he can stay up late 'just this once' to hang out instead.

Regina's evil, yes, but they've both used him as pawns against each other (just as they have both sacrificed for him).

IDK. Emma is definitely a better person than Regina. But Regina is the better mother.

I suppose there's no hope for them to just tensely get along for five minutes for his sake? "That Emma person is picking you up from school today." "You need to go home to have dinner with your mother now." etc.

August is definitely Pinnocchio, it's the only thing I've come up with that make sense and I've been obsessing over it.

Yeah, he gets to bed on time because he might get his heart yanked out if he doesn't! I exaggerate, but seriously, I don't think it's possible for a person as horrible as Regina to truly be a GOOD mother. A good mother, in my book, isn't just one who keeps the trains running on time, so to speak; she's a person who does her best to set a good example for her kid and teaches him right from wrong. And Regina is so evil and twisted that she's incapable of doing that.

she's a person who does her best to set a good example for her kid and teaches him right from wrong. - Yeah... This is why I'm not a mother. I actually had to have this pointed out to me...

Spot on! No child agency would leave a child with a mother who kills people because she doesn't get her way.

I like Regina as a character as she is evil, but you can see why she acts how she does. She is basically a child throwing a temper tantrum without thinking about others. The only pain that matters is hers. She murdered her father, the one person who still loved her and she 'loved' in return, in order to get back at a child who shouldn't have been held responsible for her actions. This is not anyone who should have a child's welfare under their guardianship.
