Emma's alias in the Enchanted Forest is Princess Leia; a reference to one of the main protagonists of the original Star Wars trilogy. This reference is made especially interesting by the fact that two years before the episode aired, Lucasfilm, the studio behind the franchise, was bought by Disney, the parent company of ABC, the network that aired Once Upon a Time.
