seriously feeling as if that throwaway comment about Belle sitting somewhere with "the person who loves her" is a way to throw us off-course. What if it *isn't* Rumplestiltskin? If this encounter occurred before Belle and Maurice called Rumple for help (OgreWars), was Belle sent to find him, as an ambassador? And, then, are they saying that he fully intended to take her as his payment for help, because he had already fallen in love with her?
OR...are they talking about someone else entirely? Again, if this scenario happened *before* the Deal with Maurice and Belle, was Belle sitting with someone else? Say, Gaston?
(Believe me, I want it to be Rumple, but this seems like such a tease, I won't believe it till I see it.)
