Lana Parrilla bringing Evil Queen to Storybrooke
How about this for a major “Once Upon a Time” surprise? While we have seen the Evil Queen often in flashbacks, Lana Parrilla has never fully turned to this Regina persona during present-day Storybrooke … at least until now.
Speaking in the new video interview below via TV Guide, the actress makes it clear that you are going to see Regina put on the corset and elaborate dress yet again for a specific purpose in Storybrooke, one that it is still a mystery. There could be a number of different reasons for her to appear in this getup, and not all of them are necessarily evil:
1. Maybe this is all some elaborate trick on Regina’s part, designed to throw some others off of the scent of her true intentions.
2. Maybe she wants to scare someone in particular, by making them think that she is evil once again.
3. Then again, maybe something has happened to cause her to try to destroy Storybrooke and most of its residents.
Hopefully, we will get some answers on this particular story coming up. One episode that is really worth looking out for is “Smash the Mirror” next week, given that it is the first-ever two-hour installment of the show. This will only count as one hour of the show’s 22 episodes, so it is basically like you are getting a full extra episode of footage this season!
Maybe we will have some more news on Regina soon, so be on the lookout. Source

I took "Regina put on the corset and elaborate dress" completely literally. Like in my theory, she's just putting on the clothes (and maybe a little act) to entice Robin to leave her and to save Marian. But not really turning evily again.
Do you think that anyone would view her deciding not to try to break up with Robin as selfish? If she stays with Robin, Marian dies. I think her trying to let him go shows character growth. A case can be made for character growth either way, I just love tortured romances.

Yeah I know. Maybe I just hope that she will stay with Robin because I ship them... lol But if Regina makes him leave her so that Robin saves his wife, than it's good coming from her, and I would be okay with that too. But I'd still hope that Robin would end things with his wife, telling her that he cannot fell out of love from Regina, or something along those lines. We'll see...

This doesn't make sense to me. Regardless of whether Regina stays with Robin or not, he still loves her more than Marian. He is in love with her. For all we know, his feelings for Marian was never the same as his feelings are now for Regina. I think too many people are trying to grasp at simple "solutions" regarding Marian.
