1. Do you think Cora was really doing all of it for Regina?

Normally, I would say no. After all, she used Regina as stand-in for her own ambitions. But . . . I also remembered that she left behind a spell for Regina to use to regain custody of Henry. So . . . I would say that this answer is a mixed bag.

2. Do you think Regina knew what was going to happen if she pushed her mom through the Mirror?

I doubt it very much.

3. How do you think Rumple affected both of these women? (I found one fic that was a really weird three-way with Rumple, a younger version of Cora, and Regina).

Cora's ambition was always there . . . even before she met Rumpel. However, he had some impact - teaching her magic and influencing her fate in Wonderland through Regina, and her death through Snow White. But, I would say that he had a stronger impact upon Regina, whom he had targeted as the one who would cast his curse.

4. Do you think that once Cora had her heart back, she and Regina could have had a normal relationship? Or too much water under the bridge?

I think it's possible. Mother and daughter had passed the point of "water under the bridge" when they reunited in mid-Season 2. Regina already had her confrontation about Cora's past actions before the events of "The Miller's Daughter". That's why she wanted revenge against Snow White for Cora's death.

5. Anything else you care to add to the discussion?

No.
