In Only You, the scene with Emma and Regina in the yellow bug was originally going to take place outside, but since it was raining that day, it was decided to move the scene inside the car. Thus, the rain on the car windows is completely real.

I think moving the scene into the car helped make that scene more intimate, and the rain on the windows added to the effect. Nice tidbit of background info!
