Somehow, I'm sad that we did not get to see him more, I think he would have been a great villain. However, I'm glad that Hook won over him.

I'm with you on that! I thought Blackbeard was pretty awesome; maybe we'll get to see stories in flashbacks, or maybe he'll have survived being chomped by sharks. LOL

Random trivia: he played Ben on Desperate Housewives, the Aussie that Renee was all into!

Now that I think of it, we can see him a few seconds in 3x21 when Rumple use his crystal ball to show Emma and Hook where is Snow White; she was talking with Blackbeard. So we might see him again in other flashbacks :D

I never watched Desperate Housewives, so I would not know. lol
