Regina/Emma in The Kiss That Stunned, rated PG-13/T

They had been arguing for well over an hour already that morning when Regina finally decided to silence Emma Swan's plantive mouth once and for all. Without warning, the Queen moved in and grabbed the Savior. One hand burying into her blonde locks and the other holding her jaw still, she slammed her mouth down onto hers. She had been fully expecting the shock that filled Emma's widening eyes, but what took the Queen by surprise was that she didn't try to wrench free from her hold.

Taking Emma's lack of rebuttal as a silent challenge, Regina pried her lips apart with her own and thrust her tongue into Emma's mouth. Emma's tongue quickly met hers. They slid against each other, pouring their anger and passion into their kiss, as their tongues moved faster than the blades of swords and the jarring words with which they had previously been sparring every time they saw each other.

Time seemed to stand still. Regina's lips curved into a devious smile against Emma's as the blonde's eyes began to flutter closed. A great, clattering racket finally made them jump apart. Emma looked down to her chainsaw in disbelief. "Regina, what did . . . " she breathed, looking back up, but Regina was gone.

Emma's hand rose to her mouth. Her fingers lingered just above her pursed lips. She could still taste Regina's wild darkness. She could still taste Regina. "Whoa," she whispered, feeling more alone than she had since before coming to Storybrooke. Being frenemies with her son's adopted mother had just gotten a whole lot more complicated.

The End
