1. I watched it later...much later. I didn't get into the show until the end of January 2013 when I stumbled onto it on Netflix. That being said, I went into it without knowing anything about it, so it wasn't all that different than watching it live for me.

2. The entire first scene between Rumple and Cinderella, but most especially his blowing up her fairy godmother. I laughed so hard over that. It was such a brilliant twist and Robert Carlyle played the whole scene beautifully. I just loved the way she blew up in this shower of sparks and the wand falls to the ground and in the silence that follows, they pan to Rumple picking it up. Just an awesomely done scene!

3. Yes...absolutely. Because later on we see Rumple asking King George about the location of his fairy patron and when I rewatched it, I realized SHE was the fairy he was talking about. He wanted to steal her wand.

4. Definitely more interesting. There was a bit of a disconnect in some ways between Storybrooke and the EF and this was the first moment you realize exactly how connected they are. Thomas is ripped away from her in FTL and in SB that has translated to his father coming between them. I liked the way that it became twisted into something understandable in our modern world. It was also one of the big moments for realizing the curse was weakening. Because they found their way back to each other and the baby was born, thus getting their happy ending.

5. I always wanted to know more about them. I couldn't wait to see what fairytale character we'd meet next and what they would be like in our world.

6. Very surprised. I didn't expect that for even a second.

7. Gold does nothing without a purpose. I don't know if he knew what favor he would ask of her. In fact, I highly doubt he did as he planned on leaving on his own to find his son and didn't know he'd need someone's help. But Gold knows how to hedge his bets and since she's the savior, I'm sure he knew having a "favor" would come in handy someday.

8. I really enjoyed all the Rumple in FTL scenes. As you said, this was our first chance to see him when he's not locked up. It was fun to realize that he was a bit unhinged even before being locked up. But we also got to see how devious and calculating he was in those moments. I have to admit that this was the episode that made me think that Rumple was pretty damned hot (I know, not everyone's cuppa!). As for what I enjoy more knowing what's to come? It's fun going back after finding out that Rumple WANTED to be trapped in that cell. You can see it in the way its acted once you know that it's there.

9. Regina absolutely shot herself in the foot. If she had been open and friendly and made it apparent she loved Henry and he had a good life, if she hadn't kept throwing up suspicious road blocks, I think Emma would have headed back to Boston quickly and perhaps just stayed in touch with Henry. But Regina being Regina, had to go all Evil Queen on her, and it made Emma suspicious and made her want to stick around even more.
