My thoughts on 2x08: Into the Deep

PS: As part of my Nano project this year, I've been working on a OUAT story that's now nearing the end and I'm going to be in need of a beta for it. It's a gen fic that basically explores the question of what might happen if Snow had gone through the wardrobe with Emma before the curse took effect. It's roughly 25k and I think it needs some serious tightening up in some places and some expansion in others but I'd really love to have another option on it. Anyway if this sounds like something you'd be interested in helping me with, please let me know.

Also, in case you missed it, I'm offering 31 prompted drabbles to be posted in the month of December and at the moment there is a serious lack of OUAT prompts. You can find out more and leave a prompt in this post.

Can you tell me what you're looking for in a beta?

Structural/story advice/characterization feedback?
Or editing/grammar?

I could do the first, but probably not the second. I am the worst with commas and my abilities to proofread for grammar are probably not as good as they ought to be.

Hi there! I'm not so worried about a grammar edit just yet, that can come later. At the moment I really need someone who knows the show to give me feedback on the actual story content itself. Especially because it was written during Nano I feel like there are some things that are going to need fixing and possibly rewriting. It's actually not quite finished yet but I currently a bit lost on how to end it and what needs to come together so I could use some help brainstorming that. I'm totally willing to listen to constructive criticism and to tear this story apart and rewrite portions if necessary. If that sounds like something you're willing to help me with that would be great! Let me know and I could email you the draft as it stands now to read through and we could go from there?

Sure - I will be happy to take it on as long as you are okay with me taking a few days with it. (I have to finish editing my weekly posting today/tomorrow and then will take a read afterwards.)I guess I'll PM you my email!
