Everyone Please Read! Spoiler Policy Change and New Rules!
Okay. We're shifting things around. :)
On a quick personal note from me and me alone, I want to let everyone I've nagged over the past few days know that there's no ill will (on both sides I hope) and because we were still in such a state of flux about making the decision regarding this issue, we still had to treat it as the rules stated in the profile page. Because of this change in this post, I hope you guys will still feel free to post to your heart's content and pardon the HBIC.
We have a new spoiler policy. From now on, our spoiler policy is 24 hours. I know a lot of spoilerphobes will freak out, but I'll explain. The poll was split 50/50. And I mean, SERIOUSLY 50/50. And there was no way we could make a decision based on that result.
This was the best policy I could come up with that will hopefully make everyone happy. I know there are several arguments that come into play with spoilers, but I can't make people not browse the internet. All I can do is try to keep both sides of the issue appeased. Also, the rules are there for a reason. Read them before you post.
So here's what will happen:
• All spoilers (including new characters) in Sunday's episode will be considered a spoiler for 24 hours after the episode airs.
• Any entry that posts a spoiler within that time frame without a cut (and this includes subject lines and graphics previews) will be automatically deleted without comment. You can repost the entry with a spoiler cut or wait until the 24 hours are up.
• After the 24 hours are up, everyone is free to post whatever they want (including past spoilers) so long as there are no spoilers for future episodes (but this is a given).
So, that's what's gonna happen and I hope everyone will be okay with this decision.
